We finally met with our PM yesterday for our pre-construction meeting. It was so exciting to go over all of our selections again and to walk the lot. It really made things seem real, because until now, it has all seemed like a dream. Here is a list of some of our selections:
Wide plank hw in "saddle" throughout the first level
Wyoming Cheery Spice kitchen cabinets
Santa Cecilia granite counter tops
Gourmet Island
Fireplace with slate surround in FR
Morning Room
Wyoming Cherry Bordeaux double vanity in Master Bath, along with level "B" ceramic tile in bone
Wyoming Cherry Spice vanity in kids bath, with same ceramic tile floor
both upstairs baths will have granite counter tops in wheat
siding color is Stone Mountain Clay with black shutters and Underwater World door (which is a medium green color)
We were told that our PM would call us on Friday to let us know when ground breaking would take place. I am so excited to find out and can't wait to get the ball rolling!
I know this is an older post, but I like to start at the beginning when reading other people's blogs! I like to see the selections that were made. You are the first person I have found that chose the same kitchen cabinets and hardwood floors as me! I have been scouring the internet trying to find someone who has this combo and who has pictures. I saw your pictures of your kitchen without the floors. I really hope you post pictures with the completed look!
ReplyDeleteCmm, I have been really negligent at keeping up with this blog since my house was completed...Like you, I couldn't find anyone who chose my cabinet and floor combination, so I was going on hope that it would look good. I am so happy that there is someone else out there with the same taste! I will tell you that I am extremely happy with how it turned out. I will post pics for you soon...
DeleteI will be anxiously waiting for pics!
DeleteI'm starting to think you forgot about me =( I would LOVE to see a picture of your kitchen still. If you would rather e-mail it, you can send it to crisy81@aol.com
